Just got back from a Beach Boys concert. Actually, it was a Beach Boy concert, since there was only one original performing. So it was good, but not great. Kinda incongruous to hear someone singing "after 6 hours of school I gotta get outa here", and then make jokes about collecting social security. Also, John Stamos on drums - strange but true. I have been one busy cowgirl. Since I worked 55 hours this week, I decided that I should really party on this weekend, so I did. Friday afternoon I get a call from one of the nurses who works at Hospice at Home. I hardly know this woman, so when she asked me what I was doing after work, I hesitated a bit. Just looked out the back window and there was a mother deer with her two babies grazing on the grass. They didn't have any spots on their backs, so I guess they were born last year. A nice sight - calming on a warm June morning

Woke up strangely disoriented. Was today the day I was supposed to take my daughter to the airport? I don't remember when she came home last night. Did she wake me up?.....Oh yeah, I took her to the airport yesterday. Memory is definitely slipping. Or maybe it was the 2 Vicadin that I took before going to bed last night.
