Background Information
I have only watched the first 30 episodes of Grim. This will be updated as more information is available.
Hoss Delgado is modeled after Snake Plissken in Escape from LA and Ash in Evil Dead. Also some of his cartoons play off of Kurt Russell's career such as "Big Trouble in Billy's Basement"

Enemies: Nergal, Yog-Sawhaw, Zombies, Aliens and all supernatural creatures
Special powers: Hoss can sense supernaturals and smell evil
Friends: Billy (Hoss is his hero), Mandy, Irwin and sometimes Grim though he is more likely to beat on Grim given the chance.
Girlfriend: Eris, Greek Goddess of Chaos
Catch Phrases: Let’s Disco! Suck grenades loser.
Favorite Band: Purple Filth
Favorite Video Game: Pat the Baker (Also Billy’s Favorite game. Billy and Hoss play it together)
Hoss has his own video game called President Evil where Hoss fights undead Abraham Lincolns. This is Mandy’s favorite game
Odd Facts:
- Before they dated Eris banished Hoss to the “Puppet Dimension” for falling in love with her. This dimension is inescapable. Miraculously Hoss managed to Escape
- Hoss was weak and skinny as a child
- Locks his childhood nemesis Kyle in his basement forever
- Hoss and Eris pretend to be Billy’s parents when he gets in trouble at school
- Hoss likes children
- Hoss once claimed he was a woman for shock/comedy value. He also claimed to wet to bed until he was 32.
- Considers himself the protector of innocents and the only one who can save the universe
- Hoss brings so much order to Eris’ life that neither one complete their jobs. Grim, Mandy and Billy are always trying to break them up.
- Hoss teaches Irwin to be cool. In essence, he turns Irwin into a copy of himself.
- The Cartoon suggests Hoss was the most heroic dragon slayer ever in a past life. (Suggested in Dumb-Dumbs and Dragons)
- Hoss has never lost a fight against the Grim Reaper
- Hoss never goes anywhere without his copy of Pat the Baker (Hoss appears to be addicted to video games)
- Hoss is fearless, macho and gung ho but not always the most intelligent
- Hoss likes egg rolls.
- Hoss drives a green motorcycle or a big red monster truck (Later the truck is blue.)
