i'd say about 90% of the time, if i see someone i know when i'm out somewhere in public, i pretend that i didn't notice them or, simply, that i don't know them at all. unless they get the great idea to come up to me, and i'm forced to say hi. i do this even if i know them pretty well. i went to the mall today with my little brother and i had to do
