For the AP class I'm in next year, can you believe what one of the five books we have to read over the summer is? Catcher in the Rye. How distasteful. I'm sure they could have picked ANY other book besides that that's more thematic and less apathetic. I think if it's an AP class, we should be a bit past the "coming of age" section in the course.
