Fox Soccer/Futbol Argentino

Hey, thanks for all the great pics/info everyone's been posting!

Has Fox Soccer Channel decided to stop airing Argentine futbol? We used to be able to see 1 or 2 games a week as well as a weekly highlights show. I know the season's started in Argentina but nothing on FSC so far ...?

I know! I HATE that the Argie futbol is not being shown on FOX! I don't understand...I know that Max Bretos, who was one of FOX's announcers for the games, has moved to another TV station (ESPN2? I forget.) And I LOVED the highlights show! Now there is nothing except online streaming.

Who was the guy who used to be the commentator - not Max Bretos, but the one who knew Argie futbol inside out? He was the best - my God, I can't believe I can't remember his name; I used to listen to him every week! I'm sure it will come to me but I can't think of it now!

So do you think this is permanent, or will they start showing it again? Why would they take it off?! Grrrrr ...

How do you stream the matches online & where? (Sorry, I'm computer-stupid!)

Ah, you mean Roger Valdivieso? Oh man, I LOVED that guy! He knew ALL the gossip, EVERYTHING! He was fantastic! I shouldn't say 'was'. Maybe he is still there but they are not showing us the games

OMG! Yes! That's him! I love Roger Valdivieso - he knew everything about everyone, and I loved his commentary ... I hope I'm going to be hearing more ...

And thank you SO MUCH for your help. I'd actually been to the site before but I never knew about the live TV & being able to watch the matches - you're the best.

I'll also try to find out what's up with Fox ... I have a bad feeling that they're not going to be showing Argie futbol anymore, but one lives in hope ... :)

I heard their has been a plot to shutdown futbol argentino for a couple of years by mexican televisa and tv azteca to market mexifutbol through the united states.
