it was predictable. i remember sitting there and telling eli what i thought would happen next, and it would happen. i don't distinctly rememeber the exact time in the movie i did it at, but i remember thinking, ahh predictable. like when he turned into the fish, and when the little girl ended up being the witch and when he found out his dad was having an affair with her...yeah just a few.
and ilana you must stop me from saying "no shit sherlock." i am pissing myself off by saying it becuase i sould like a stupid loser...and a horse.
1 Those things that you named were supposed to be predictable. It's called foreshadowing. I'm pretty sure that everyone knew that those things were going to happen, because they were supposed to. If they didn't, then sorry to them.
2 I already tried to stop you from saying it, because I find that sentence to be annoying.
i think the story was supposed to be predictable. i mean, it's about a guy that has heard these stories his whole entire life and he has all of them memorized, so we're supposed to feel as if it's familiar, too. the relationship was supposed to be like that, too. sandra had just met ed and the first thing he told her was that he loved her...just imagine how she felt! haha
the son was fucking annoying though. i couldn't stand him.
