For crying out loud. I mean WHO holds a press conference at one o'clock in the fucking morning? I feel eleventy shades of awful knowing that I'll be going to bed with him as one of ours, and waking up ... not (somehow, I don't know, I feel like I'm abandoning him by not seeing it through, how pathetic is that?), but I can't stay up another two hours, I have to go to bed. I just hate how this has happened, I hate it SO much.

It's official. Whoever moved the press conference back didn't tell the person sorting out the Milan website, so the official statement is up there already.

Personally I blame all sides for this, the Uncles take most of it, but Ricky with his 'I want to stay forever' and 'I'd like to play in England or Spain' takes his share to - but then I'm a total cynic remember.

As for the replacements - as Paolo said, if they sell him (which they now have) they need to replace him like v like, and none of that lot seem to fit the bill. The Adebayor thing is really annoying because he's had a pretty shit season quite frankly for a start!

I think we're safe on the San Siro (or rather the GM) being renamed, mostly because don't the council actually own the ground or something??

It's not been played out very well, really - I agree that Ricky should have played down the 'I want to stay at Milan' thing, but, I suppose it's only human nature to try and appear blameless. He had to do what he thinks best for him. I don't fully swallow the implication that he only went to do Milan a financial favour, but I do think he took that into consideration when making his decision.

I think the Adebayor thing is another one of those that will neither go away, nor amount to anything. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Dzeko, though; I think he would be well worth having.
