I'm incredibly excited! Pato-Ibra-Dinho is an amazing frontline, and with Marco and Pippo on the bench I think we can rival almost any attacking force in Europe.
I personally think Ibra worked better alone, or with someone more... different than Pato, just not Pato. I could be picky and I haven't seen much of Ibra since he moved, so I hope he quickly adjusts to Milan's frontline.
*so much love back* And you're ever-wonderful for all of this, you know ♥♥.
While I made a new tag for him, I'm sure you'd like to make one of yours. I considered [Beaky], but I thought you could come up with even wittier names. Or we could have a bunch of them! Depending on the situation ;)
I don't know, he's probably gonna be the second Pippo or something, whom I absolutely against when he first came to Milan, then, ends up stealing my heart later. Will he?
I do hope so, for the sake of many and the team as a whole. We certainly don't need drama, and I know he BREEDS drama, but I'm hoping for a miracle here...
I don't know what the media is saying about what happened between him and Guardiola, I only caught a little of it on the news, but I'm sure most of it was (like everything else) blown out of proportion because of the type of player Ibra is, that it's safer to think Guardiola was the sole victim here. Media, media...
Awesome deal is awesome, though. Now we're not buying ANYONE, we've spent a whole season worth of spendings ;p
I'm not entirely welcoming our new insect overlords but I'm moderately optimistic. I've wanted a large, imposing, defense harrying forward at Milan for a long time. Ibra has talent, he's relatively young and he knows Serie A and Milan well. I do worry a bit about his reputation though, I don't want him pitching tantrums at our nice, mellow Milan.
Very! And a striker, at that. I don't care what the stats say, we haven't been scoring like everyone else in years (regular, pretty goals that aren't followed by close-ups of everyone's shocked faces). And, ego aside, I think Ibra might just cope. The others will surely be lending more than one hand for him, he just better not slap them away.
That's the thing, we never replaced Sheva with a real goal provider. In place of arguably the best forward of his day we had a few decent ones while other teams signed goal machines. I'm fond of Gila but, mentally, he was never up to the challenge of leading Milan at the front.
I'm certain Rino, Sandro and the Republic of Clarence won't be backward in telling him off is he needs it.
