I'd like to think I have a decent grasp of the concept of programming in C++. I dabbled in it recreationaly for a little bit before taking some classes on it. I didn't like the classes and therefore I stopped pursuing that aspect of my education in terms of a means to land a great job ( Read more... )

My suggestion: PHP is teh suck. Go with JSP or ASP, woo!

As it may be, I don't have much of a choice in the matter. Its not that I'm unwilling to be a radical and suggest otherwise, I don't have a firm grasp on any of the languages so I'd still be sucking wind when it came time to implement either of them if I was able to swing opinions.

So, assuming I'm stuck learning PHP... lets re-examine the initial question. Are there any repositories of projects. Something where a goal is listed, and perhaps a tip or two (as well as the completed solution to the project)?
