i'm too old to be so impatient

today started off miserable, then got tolerable, then got really amazing, which oddly enough coincided with john coming over. the first miserable thing that happened was john having to wake up early to go to work, and not waking up on time because i apparently can't set an alarm on my phone properly. then john had to leave, and not thirty seconds
