Seven of those states are entirely because of a road trip I took in elementary school with my fam to Colorado and back. Also, this count does not include airports, otherwise I'd have to put Ohio on there. :D

ohgod I was 10 that was so long ago xDDD We went to Acacia, I remember, and Bay Harbor, and a sailing cruise just north of Acacia. We also drove over to Rainier for a bit, and canoed in a lake with a moose in it xD

Acadia and Bar Harbor? lol. That's awesome. Camping in Acadia is the best thing ever. So many mountains and trails °q°

we went bike riding at Acacia, I remember that \o/ and we had a lobster bake on a deserted island during that sailing cruise xD That was fun.

Hahaha it's because we didn't get a chance to go on a summer vacation there :P My parents have been backpacking in the Olympic peninsula, it if makes you feel better?

(Living in Alabama, it's hard to make it up to those crazy Northern states xD)

But lol yes. Alabama to Washington hardly seems worth it... since there's really not much here, unless you're totally into nature or something, I guess.

But ooh, that's awesome. The Olympic Peninsula is a gorgeous place to backpack. I approve. /does it every summer
