Holy crap!

I just got an e-mail from Kryptonite that if I send them my old lock they will replace it! I thought for sure they had forgotten all about me and my sad little lock. Yay!

nice... i really need to do that. i was lucky enough not to have one of the models that can be broken with a pen, but now that it's common knowledge how easy the cylinder locks in general are to pick it's certainly not safe. the only thing is that i don't want to be without a lock for the weeks and weeks i'm sure it will take to receive the new one..

They sent me a UPS pick-up slip so all I have to do is drop it off postage-paid. It took like 2 months for them to process my info, so hopefully this means they have my new lock boxed and ready to go. I'll let you know what the turnaround time is.
