So, it was after workshops and still no pie yet. Did John forget? Did he blow her off? Did he hate her after all? Hmmph. She was just going to have to see what was going on.

Opening her door she noticed that his room door was open and that music was playing. Clad in cutoff shorts and a cami top, Annette padded across the way and knocked once on the door frame and started to enter, "Hey..."

Ronan turned in his chair and smiled. "Hey, there," he said.

"Hi. You must be Ronan. Have we met? I don't think we've met yet. I'm Annette." Annette likes to talk. She came forward and extended her hand, pretty much inviting herself in.

Ronan's smile widened. "Hi, Annette. Yeah, I'm Ronan." He totally wasn't thickening his accent, just a tiny little bit. Why would he do a thing like that?

"Hey Annette, we're getting pie, right?!" John said, cutting into their conversation.

"You're...from somewhere else, aren't you? Let me think. Let me guess here...Scotland? No. Ireland? Has to be. Yep. That's what I'm saying. I've been there you know. With my family once. Are you from the present year?"

"Hi, John. Thought you forgot."

Ronan laughed. "Good ear," he said. "Yes, I'm from Ireland. Although technically, a year in the past."

"Right, but we should probably be going, Annette!" John tried to grab at her arm.

Annette might have just found her new best friend. She gave Ronan a brilliant smile, "I love Ireland. Everything about it. It is so beautiful. Can I sit down somewhere, do you mind?" She looked at John as he grabbed her arm, "What's the hurry, John? I'm just getting to meet Ronan."

Ronan shrugged. "Knock yourself out." He smiled, but inside he was going, ... There's something a little strange about this girl. He was ignoring the part where that described 98% of the girls at the school, and, with a pronoun change, the boys as well.

John let go of Annette's arm, and gestured to his bed after sitting back down himself.

If Annette knew Ronan was thinking that thought about her she would be asking him to explain himself. Yes. It's not everyday someone thinks she's strange. Geeze.

She planted herself on John's bed and looked at Ronan, then at John, then back at Ronan again. "We're going to go have pie if you want to come."

Not that Ronan would properly be able to explain himself, because it's more just a feeling than anything else.

Ronan winced slightly, internally, not really betraying his discomfort with the invitation. But he didn't really have any reason to refuse, and, hey, pie. "Uh, sure, I guess," he said. "Sounds like fun."

"Great!" John said without really meaning it in the great way.

She looked over at John and arched a brow, then she leaned really close and whispered softly, hoping Ronan didn't hear her, "Unless you and I just need to go alone so we can talk?"

Looking back at Ronan, she ignored the pie topic for now, "So, how are you liking Fandom? I think I have heard your name mentioned on the radio a couple times."

Ronan blushed a bit. "I haven't been listening much myself, but I hope it's all good things they're saying."
