I faxed my resume to the Child Care Association (which runs the Head Start program in the county) and 10 minutes later, just as I walked into my grandma's house, I got a call from the lady I faxed it to. I saw that job and I happen to know that that pitiful salary is still more than I make! Haha. Get that job, girl, and run with it because there's NOTHING out there right now, and anything is better than nothing.

And anything's better than being stuck at home all day with harping family. :) (Not that your family has been harping, but you get what I mean.)

That is sad...hah.
But it does pay more than substitue teaching and has vacations and benefits...so yeah. Plus there's a program I've looked at before that pays like a supplement to early childhood teachers who make like less than $18/hr.
