Awww, this is fabulous! Such great details --

I think my favorite is that he doesn't want to know whether he wakes her up or not -- whether she knows. He's doing his own kind of psychic cheating here, yet it's almost respectful of Emma, as the same time it's protective of himself. I actually think that getting this kind of hold on his crazy subconscious would be a positive step for Scott.

So lovely! (and now am DLing the song)

I totally pictured the garage as Scott's bug room. Thanks, Morrison. :)

And thank you for commenting!

Speaking as one who knows all the mandatory "X-Men have a picnic and a baseball game" scenes, I truly did like this.

Nice!

That was mournful and lovely.
Like a sad song with a hint of promise.

Very nice, I love it :)

I love how sacred this one memory is to Scott and how painful and secretly he savors it. Your story hit my angst spot right where I needed it. Thanks.

What a great story with a different writing style than most. Well done! I always love JOTT moments, even if they are in Scott's memory. Now he just needs to wise up and escape Emma's grip.
