This is the summer time~
Sitting down in the warm grass, Massu happily licked his ice cream cone, watching his friends play with a smile. Koyama and Shige were attempting to build sandcastles, but because of the dry, loose sand, it kept falling apart. “Damn!” Massu heard Koyama cry out, glaring angrily at their fallen sandcastle, while Shige simply frowned, patting Koyama on the shoulder.
On the other side of the playground, Yamapi was singing on the swings, propelling himself with his legs, going higher and higher. Massu watched in amazement as Yamapi then jumped off the swing, soaring through the air before landing on the sand, falling over in a laughing mess.
“Nice!” Ryo yelled out, cheering Yamapi. He, much like Massu, was still finishing off his ice cream. Instead of sitting in the grass though, he sat on top of the slide’s cone structure, looking much like the shadow king they all knew he was.
Last, there was Tegoshi, who sat by Massu with a silly smile, his head resting on the others shoulder. “I’m so happy right now,” Tegoshi commented quietly, his hand tracing circles on Massu’s knee, “It’s such a perfect day.”
“It really is,” Massu agreed, grabbing Tegoshi’s hand and holding it, sighing in content.
