Ryosuke eyed the green grass as he plucked out its blades, squishing them between his fingers before letting them fall into a crumpled pile, adding to his little mountain of smushed grass. Beside him, Keito was silently watching the sunset, leaning against Ryosuke’s sullen body.
“You still sad?” Keito asked, breaking the silence. Receiving a small nod in response, Keito sighed and sat up, pulling Ryosuke into his arms and kissing his forehead, “I love you,” he said, his lips tickling Ryosuke’s skin.
“I love you too,” Ryosuke replied, “More today than yesterday,” he whispered to the gray headstone, “But less than I will tomorrow,” he finished, a tear sliding down his cheek as he clutched the teddy bear necklace,

Ryosuke glared as he pushed Keito, sending him flying onto the bed. Quickly, he climbed on top of the boy and grabbed his wrists, holding them back with surprising strength. Keito began to struggle, but when it was clear Ryosuke was not letting up on his hold, he relaxed, breathing in deep.
“You’re being ridiculous,” Keito rolled his eyes, “We were just speaking in English, you’re-”
“I am not ridiculous, I am not overreacting and I am not fucking jealous,” Ryosuke seethed, “When I’m gone, feel free to speak as much English as you want with that idiot, but when I’m around,” Ryosuke glared harder, “Don’t talk about things I don’t understand.”
Keito sighed, clicking his tongue, “Fine, I’ll tell Hikaru we can’t practice his English during JUMP’s practice hours because you’re jealous and insane.”
Ryosuke smiled, ignoring the insult as he let go of Keito’s wrists and cuddled the older boy, rolling them over onto their sides, giggling.

Ryosuke shivered, his pale fingers clutching Keito’s shirt as the other held him close, his jacket wrapped around Ryosuke’s shaking shoulders.
“This, this is crazy,” Ryosuke’s teeth chattered, his bangs sticking to his rain-soaked skin, “What are we going to do?”
“I don’t know,” Keito answered truthfully, keeping his eyes on the train track, “We’ll go somewhere, where no one knows us. It’ll be okay.”
“But-”
Keito interrupted him, kissing him firmly on the mouth. When he pulled back, he said, “Don’t be afraid, we belong together.”

Relaxing against Keito’s chest, Ryosuke breathed in and closed his eyes, smiling when he felt the other’s arms wrap around his waist, his fingers accidentally tickling Ryosuke’s sides. “No tickling,” Ryosuke mumbled as he snuggled further into Keito’s embrace, yawning comfortably as he shifted.
“Oh, okay then.” Keito shook his head, mentally teasing his sleepy boyfriend.
“I love you,” Ryosuke said, sleepily, “And we’re going to be together, forever.”
“Forever, really?” Keito asked, trying to contain his laughter, “How does that work, exactly?”
“I’m working on the ’forever’ part,” Ryosuke yawned again, “But, I’ll figure it out, and then we’ll be happy. Okay?”
Keito smiled, kissing Ryosuke’s cheek, “Okay,” he replied, but Ryosuke was already fast asleep, his quiet snores making Keito’s heart thump.

“I,” Ryosuke looked up from their linked hands, tears gathering in his eyes, “I,” he tried again but stopped, his chest too tight and his throat closing up, warm tears now spilling down his cheeks.
“Ryosuke, please,” Keito pleaded, giving the other’s hands a squeeze, “I’m so sorry, I never-”
“I wanted to be with you!” Ryosuke shouted, closing the distance between him and Keito with a tight hug, burying his face into his chest, “You just, you just left me!” he cried out, tears wracking his small body.
“I know,” Keito sighed, holding Ryosuke close, “But I had no choice, you know how it is. I had to go back to England.”
“I don’t care,” Ryosuke shook his head, looking up at Keito with pained eyes, “You were gone for six months Keito, and it hurt,” his voice shook, breaking, “It hurt so much.”
“I’m sorry,” Keito apologized again, wishing with all of his heart that he could promise it would never happen again, that he would never leave Ryosuke again.
But he couldn’t, so instead he kissed him, whispering words of love against those soft lips.

Stretching his sleepy limbs, Keito blinked open his eyes and looked over to his right, a smile forming on his face when he saw the boy fast asleep next to him, his cheek squished against the pillow. Turning over so that he was fully facing Ryosuke, Keito carefully pulled the boy closer to him, their knees brushing together as they met.
Ryosuke groaned and buried his face further into the pillow, mumbling his boyfriend’s name under his breath.
Keito sighed, reality crashing down as he remembered this gorgeous boy belonged to his best friend, and not to him, “I’m sorry,” Keito whispered, gently kissing Ryosuke’s cheek, “This was a really big mistake.”
Keito moved to get up, but a small hand stopped him, clutching his bare shoulder, “Don’t,” Ryosuke said softly, his sleepy eyes starring at Keito, “Don’t go.”
“It’s not right-” Ryosuke shifted closer to Keito, and with a quiet, “but I love you,” he closed the distance between them, his hand now tangled in Keito’s hair as he deepened their kiss.

It was a little past midnight when Ryosuke heard his bedroom window opening, creaking loudly in the dark silence. Rolling over in his bed, Ryosuke turned on his night lamp and shocked his intruder, causing him to fall to the floor with an ungraceful stumble.
“Idiot, what are you doing here?” Ryosuke chuckled, getting up with a stretch before going over to the boy, crouching beside him on the floor. Suddenly, a pair of strong arms wrapped around him and Ryosuke yelped, finding himself pulled flush against the other as they toppled to the floor.
“Do I really need an excuse to come see you?” Keito asked, smiling sweetly at his adorable boyfriend beneath him.
“No, I suppose not,” Ryosuke yawned, grabbing Keito’s hand and lacing their fingers together.
Sitting up with a gasp, Ryosuke ran a shaky hand through his hair, pushing the sweat soaked bangs out of his face. Cursing, he pulled his knees to his chest and sighed, a tear falling down his cheek.
“Why’d you have to go?” he asked himself, glancing over his shoulder at the bright lights illuminating the foreign city.

Keito pouted, arms crossed over his chest as he ignored the boy sitting behind him on the couch, poking his sides and trying to get his attention. Keito tried to remain strong, but when Ryosuke started tickling his sides and whispered naughty things into his ear, Keito broke, screaming, “Leave me alone you asshole!”
Ryosuke snickered, leaning over and flopping onto Keito’s back, his arms hanging over Keito’s chest, “You don’t mean that,” he smiled, head tilted so he could look Keito in the eye, “You’re just mad I kissed Shida for that drama.”
Keito glared, mentally cursing Ryosuke to hell.
“It was just a role though, Keito,” Ryosuke said, his tone gentler and less teasing, “I never want to willingly kiss anyone but you,” he winked, kissing Keito’s cheek.
Keito’s glared wavered and his pout turned into a smile as he nodded, “Good, cause if you didn’t, I’d have to hurt you,” he said, winking back at his boyfriend.
Ryosuke gulped, his eyes widening.

Fiddling with his teddy bear necklace, Keito took a deep breath and knocked on Ryosuke’s door, waiting patiently for it to open. Hearing a dog bark, a shocked yell and a girlish squeal, Keito contemplated coming back later when the door was jerked open and there stood Ryosuke, his hair a tangled mess.
“Hey, sorry,” Ryosuke chuckled awkwardly, trying to smooth out his messy hair, “It’s pet washing day, which you know, is insanity here.”
“I remember,” Keito laughed a little, before clearing his throat, “So, listen, I um, I want to give you something.” Keito stuttered out, his nervous fingers unlinking the chain that held his necklace together.
“I don’t,” Ryosuke paused, eyes widening when Keito stepped closer and looped the necklace around his neck, the teddy bear hanging over his heart as Keito clasped the necklace together.
“You’re really special to me,” Keito said quietly, looking into Ryosuke’s eyes, his hands still behind the other’s neck, “And all I want to do in this lifetime, is make you mine.”
Ryosuke grabbed the teddy bear with both hands, glancing down at it for a second, before leaning forward and kissing Keito, letting go of the necklace so that he could pull Keito closer to him, arms around his waist.
“I’m so glad,” Keito said in between kisses, his hand now resting against Ryosuke’s cheek, “I wasn’t sure if you would accept it.”
“Of course I would.” Ryosuke simply said, berating his silly boyfriend for thinking otherwise.

“I can’t believe it,” Ryosuke shook his head, sitting cross-legged on the empty stage as he looked out into the empty chairs, “Our last show, it’s seems…unreal.”
“I know what you mean,” Keito nodded, his arm slung comfortably across Ryosuke’s shoulder, “Chinen is still crying in the dressing room.”
“I kind of want to cry too,” Ryosuke sighed, staring now at his hands in his lap, “A part of me honestly thought JUMP would last forever, you know?”
“Same here,” Keito leaned over and tapped his head against Ryosuke’s, smiling, “But a wise man once said; Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
Ryosuke’s eyebrows pulled together, and he looked over at Keito curiously, “Didn’t Dr. Seuss say that?”
“Maybe,” Keito blushed, and Ryosuke laughed, hugging Keito gratefully.
