“I think that one looks like a pirate ship,” Chinen pointed up to the sky, his other arm tucked behind his head. “Do you see it?” he asked Ryutaro, who was looking up at the sky through squinted eyes.
“Possibly,” Ryutaro replied, “Is is next to a cloud that looks like a dragon?”
Chinen looked around the area surrounding the pirate ship cloud, “Not really, but there is a cloud that kind of looks like Yuto.”
“Seriously?” Ryutaro chuckled, looking around for the Yuto cloud. When he found it, he burst out laughing, rolling around in the grass in a way that reminded Chinen of a cat.
“You’re cute.” Chinen poked Ryutaro in the side mid-roll, causing the boy to squeak and flail his arms in self-defense.

Looking out the window of the van they were in, Ryutaro sighed and rested his cheek against the cool glass. He was utterly exhausted, after staying up all night with his DS, and was hoping to catch an hour of rest on the way to their photoshoot, but for some reason, he just couldn’t fall asleep.
“Ryutaro,” Chinen whispered from the seat next to him, placing his chin on Ryutaro’s shoulder. “Why aren’t you asleep like everyone else?”
“Cause I can’t sleep,” Ryutaro looked away from the window and over at Chinen, noticing the dark circles under his eyes. “How about you, you look tired Chii.”
“I’m alright,” Chinen shrugged, turning his eyes towards the window. He smiled and nudged Ryutaro, gesturing for him to look outside. “Do you see that?”
“See what?” Ryutaro asked, looking back towards the sky.
“The moon, hiding behind the clouds. It’s really pretty,” Chinen breathed out, relaxing against Ryutaro.
The younger boy turned his head, sneaking a glance over at Chinen. “Yeah, yeah it is,” he answered, smiling softly.

“And I was like, hell no Katie, Hikaru does not look hot in a cat suit,” Chinen jumped onto the wooden bench, holding his arms out as he walked along it. “He’s so weird sometimes, right?”
Ryutaro hummed in agreement, hands in his pockets as he looked up at the sky. Although the sun was out and the sky was a bright shade of blue, the clouds looked a bit ominous.
“Do you think it’s going to rain?” Ryutaro asked Chinen as he jumped off the bench, interrupting his story. “The clouds look pretty gray.”
Chinen looked up, “They do, don’t they?” he pouted, hands on his hips. “I guess we should hurry up, I don’t feel like getting soaked by the rain today.”
Ryutaro snickered, “There are times where you feel like getting soaked?”
“Shut up,” Chinen glared, giving Ryutaro a hard push when the younger boy began laughing at him.

Chinen groaned, his cheek resting in the palm of his hand. Normally Chinen wouldn’t act like this during school hours, but for some reason time was just dragging by today, the hands of the clock mocking him with their slow turning.
“Today sucks,” Chinen muttered under his breath, closing his eyes. When he felt a small vibration in his pocket, Chinen opened them, carefully looking around. His teacher was busily scribbling on the board, writing out sentences in English for them to copy.
Quickly, Chinen grabbed his phone from his pocket and opened it, viewing the new text message. When he saw it, he smiled, his cheeks flushing and his heart beat speeding up.
It was a picture message from Ryutaro, of a cloud that was in the shape of a heart.

“Oh hey!” Ryutaro pointed towards the sun, grinning from ear to ear, “There’s a cloud that looks like a hamster!”
“Cute,” Chinen giggled, his head cradled in his hands. “It looks like it’s playing with the cloud next to it.”
“That’s an oddly shaped cloud,” Ryutaro commented, “It kind of looks like a squirrel though, don’t you think?”
Chinen squinted his eyes, “Yeah, I suppose so,” he said, and then added, “It reminds me of us.”
“How so?” Ryutaro asked, looking over at Chinen.
“Well,” Chinen rolled over onto his side, facing Ryutaro with a blush, “You’re the hamster and I’m the squirrel, and we’re very…cute and fluffy together?”
Ryutaro raised a brow, “I guess that makes sense,” he said, before grabbing Chinen’s hand within his own, lacing their fingers together.
