Hogging the mirror and the only working straightener, Takaki ignored the angry cries of his band mates as he straightened his hair, obsessing over it’s perfection.
“You jerk!” Chinen yelled, glaring daggers at the back of Takaki’s head, “We need the straightener too!”
“Shut up chibi,” Takaki retorted, looking at Chinen in the reflection of the mirror and sticking his tongue out at him.
Everyone began yelling at Takaki more, cursing at him and Hikaru even attempted to grab the straightener from Takaki’s hands, but ended up with a nasty burn instead.
“What’s the point?” Daiki suddenly said, standing up on his tip toes to see over Ryutaro’s head, “With how ugly Takaki’s hair style is, it’s gonna take forever to get that straightener from him.”
Everyone gasped, except Takaki who began to tear up, sniffling as he touched his precious hair. With a depressed cry, he yanked the cord out of the wall and handed Daiki the straightener, before running out of the room, sobbing.
The room was quiet after Takaki’s departure, until Inoo broke the silence by raising his hand and declaring, “I’m after Daiki!”

Leaning against Yabu’s legs, Daiki read from his math text, yellow marker in hand as he underlined important formulas. He had a test coming up soon and he really needed to study, even if that meant studying in JUMP’s noisy practice room.
“Hey Kou-chan,” Takaki said from behind him as he sat down besides Yabu, his knee brushing against Daiki’s shoulder, “What’s the midget doing?”
“Studying,” Yabu told him, patting Daiki’s shoulder, “And he’s not a midget, be kind Takaki.”
“But he’s so tiny and cute,” Takaki giggled, til Daiki turned around and said with a glare, “I may be short and cute, but at least I’m not an idiot like you.”
Takaki pouted, mumbling an apology before getting up and walking away, his head hanging low. Daiki sighed and turned back towards his book, but was interrupted when Yabu smacked him over the back of the head, glaring at him.
“Jerk,” Yabu scolded, but Daiki ignored him, highlighting another formula in the book.

Grabbing a towel from his duffle bag, Daiki stripped down and entered the shower, throwing the towel over the curtain. Turning on the water, Daiki smiled and began to clean himself, washing away the sweat that had made him feel icky earlier.
“Hey Dai-chan!” Daiki jumped, almost dropping the bar of soap in his hands, “Mind if I join you, the other showers are being used too.”
“Uh,” Daiki blushed, pushing away his teenage thoughts, “There’s a spider in here!”
Takaki screamed and Daiki heard the other running away, letting out a sigh of relief as he continued to wash himself.

Daiki laughed as Yuto walked around in school girl’s outfit, a blonde wig over his head that was braided into two pigtails, little ribbons holding them together.
“Hello Okamoto-san,” Yuto greeted in his broken English, Keito’s face darkening when Yuto sat in his lap and the tiny shirt rode up, showing off his smooth thighs, “Teach me English!”
“Wow,” Takaki sat down besides Daiki, grinning in amusement, “Those two, eh?”
“I’m surprised you’re not dressed up too,” Daiki chuckled, bumping shoulders with Takaki, “Forgot to shave your legs this morning or something?”
“I’m too old to be goofing around like that,” Takaki shrugged, and a for moment Daiki was silent, but once his shock wore off he laughed, falling over into Takaki’s lap and clutching his sides.
“You?” Daiki shook his head, “You’re the most immature person I know!” Daiki snorted, tears beginning to drip from his eyes.
Takaki frowned and pushed Daiki off of him, as the other continued to laugh hysterically.

“I’m sorry,” Takaki apologized, running a hand through his hair, “But you’re just a friend to me, Daiki.”
“Oh,” Daiki nodded, swallowing back his sadness and the urge to just breakdown right there and cry, “Don’t be sorry, it’s cool. I’m glad we’re friends.”
Takaki smiled forcefully, “Of course, nothing can wreck our friendship,” Takaki said, patting Daiki on the head and walking away, and Daiki couldn’t help but let a tear lose as he heard the lie in those words.
“Should’ve kept my mouth shut,” Daiki sniffled, wiping away the lone tear, “Idiot.”
