AN: Expect some crack/humor later this week for YutoChii-thon and for Inoo-thon.

It may sound strange, especially coming from the mouth of a sixteen year old boy, but Yamada Ryosuke does not care what others think about him. He doesn’t let the fame get to his head; he still finishes his homework every night, he sometimes stutters when he’s feeling shy in front of a girl, and he helps with the household chores, no matter how tired or sore he is. Yamada Ryosuke is not one of those guys, but if people want to classify him as such, it doesn’t matter to him.

It doesn’t bother him that the men he has admired since a fairly young age now stare at him in disdain, or that the juniors who have admired him for some time now stare at him like he’s some foreign object. It may be hard to believe but he doesn’t care, he brushes off their cold stares and hushed whispers with a proud face, because he is who he is and there is nothing wrong with that.

He doesn’t care what the fans think either, about his singing or his dancing. They can hate him as much as they’d like, it won’t ever faze him. So what if his drama is getting bad reviews, big deal. They’ll never hurt him, no matter how much they try, nothing they say can ever bring him down.

Because he’s already too low, sobbing into his empty arms when Ryutaro ignores his calls, and Inoo responds to his text messages with short answers. He’s at ground level, struggling to crawl back up after Daiki cancels on him again, when Takaki just doesn’t show up at all. Nothing anyone can say or do will affect him the way Hikaru has by shoving him away, while Yabu just sits by and watches, unmoving. The only further down he can get is six feet below, and judging by Chinen’s angry tears on his shirt, Yuto’s painful scratches to his arm and Keito’s unwavering glare to the back of his head, they wouldn’t care.

So everyone can keep saying what they’re saying, his drama could plummet into the ground, the fans could keep writing their hateful blogs and everyone else can keep giving him the cold shoulder, because as long as the people he loves the most hate him, it doesn’t matter.

He doesn’t care.
