Inspiration...

So, for my final project for my photo class we have to find a known photographer whose style/subject/whatever inspire us. We then have to emulate them for our project. My teacher keeps saying that we should look to the photographer who inspired us to go into photo in the first place. Good idea. However, (there's always a however) I didn't get into

That makes total sense. Cause if it's not done well or if the picture is overly dramatic and borders on cheesy then it can turn you off really quick.
