I enjoy my job very much. I started this job after I got laid off my cable job in the summer. Talking to rich people about our cruises if fun and irritating at the same time. They ask stupid questions, do not read any of the paperwork we supply them, and in general act like have never traveled. But, in spite of taking a huge pay cut and the drive

Glad you have a job you like and it sounds like a wonderful chance to see the world.
The December cruise is a shame, but now, unless someone already has a passport, I don't know if you'll find anyone. Maybe Craig's list for someone compatible? I'd beg to go with you, but I don't have a passport myself. *sigh*
You've probably missed it, but savant_da_rat has had a new job since March, and though the pay is good, the hours and commute are not. He has no leisure and no life. Some of this will change next year, when the commute, at least, should drop to about ten minutes. Yippee!
