Saw the movie on opening night at a non-3D, but large, screen. It was a great movie. Nice dialogue, nice interactions, good plot, and the CGI didn't outperform the characters

Well, the Earth keeps moving when Thor drops it on the ground... Hulk cannot lift it because he is not worthy. It's like the hammer decides whether or not to cooperate with a particular force. If Thor drops the hammer in a car, the hammer permits the car to keep moving because the car is an extension of Thor in those circumstances. Hulk can lift Thor while Thor has the hammer in hand because the hammer would want to stay with Thor. So he should be able to lift the car with the hammer too, if Thor is in the car. Yeah?
Ahh, a slight modification of Newton's First Law: "Every body persists in its state of being at rest or of moving uniformly straight forward, except insofar as it is compelled to change its state by force impressed, although upon occasion it won't want to."
