Hey there,

Did you happen to see the Spike Lee Documentary on HBO? Freakin' incredible. I still can't believe things aren't somewhat cleaned up there yet.

How is your family doing down there?

I recorded it but haven't watched it yet. Don't want to watch alone. :-)

My fam is okay, but it's still depressing whenever I go back there.

Yeah... I definitely wouldn't watch it alone... I could sort of disconnect, since I've only ever visited New Orleans as a traveler... It was pretty heartbreaking stuff... I can only imagine what it must be like for someone who grew up there.

Yeah, but I know you love New Orleans Jeff, so when you watch it I know it's not like the average person watching. I'm sure a lot of those places were familiar to you.

It is definitely hard to watch, though.. as a person and a native.
