Alright I don't know where to start other than to say that being here at HU has heightened my conscience(sp) about a lot of issues, particularly those issues concerning the black community. that is so true. thats the one thing that turned me off from dc, its so sad to see the white house looking over the horrible ghettos of the city and nothings being done about it

But on some real shit that's everywhere. At home, school, work. Any college in the city is going to have that same effect. Its just slightly more ironic that this "Great Nation's Capitol" is in the middle of it. And it frustrates me because there's this since that nothing can be done to better it...it's just the way of the world. Well that's bullshit and I plan to do what I can.
