Dude Hannah, the food business is so like that. I just quit my job because yeah you know what, I couldn't handle it. My boss told me that I had no common sense and that in a way, I was a lousy waitress and had no idea how I managed at Holly's. And all this other shit. They will say that to you. That business is filled with stone-hearted people. There's no doubt about that. It's the stress that makes them cold and spiteful. I'm glad to say that I will never own a restaurant business. But do your best to ignore what she says, you know that you're working your ass off because of the amount of tip money you make. It's worth it. My boss pretty much fired me because I got a nose ring, and to say the least I was fed up with her nincompoop comments and such, so I wasn't terribly upset about it. But whatevs. You come this far in the business, you'll know how to deal with other people. They're all assholes, sometimes you'll find genuine ones...and even then you should have your doubts. I quit/was fired. She gave me an ultimatum: either my nose ring went or I went, so I left. I think I spelled that right. Just figured I'd clear things up.
