Yeah! Since i grabbed a bunch of SPoon on mp3 (i think from you), i've given it a few more listens. It's still not anywhere near my favorites, but it's good listening. They put on a pretty decent show on Monday, even though their songs are all played at the same midtempo. :)

ok fine. i watched half the video. this is really bad. and i am upset that the girl in the video looks like the french exchange student from Better Off Dead. at least she is beating them up for sucking.

also, this is one of those bands that recorded and heavily shopped a demo specifically to get a record contract = THEN later decided maybe they needed to play some live shows, too. i like how they just "got" jobs at the recording studio at Harvard. cos, anyone can just walk into Simple and get a job if they want it, right?

A few months ago on Twitter everyone was all "Ooooh Chester French are from Milwaukee and nobody even knows about them! How is that possible?!" and I was like, that's because their name is CHESTER FRENCH and they suck.
