Lately I have been seeing/thinking who matters to me now, who always will, who doesn't, and who never will. It's really a good feeling to be ok. I mean I am >really< apathetic about being a senior, and going to college, and whatever else that comes w/ not having anything left planned out for you after highschool! Taking OJT isn't really bad. It was one of the better parts of going to school senior and getting to leave early.You don't miss out on anything because you still get to come and participate in all the stupid senior shit. You say now that it's going to be a breeze and you will go to school and shit but by the time second nine weeks rolls around you are going to be so burned out. And don't let your plans after high school really get to you becuase I let them get to me and it added a lot of stress that wasn't needed. Just take some time and think about what you want becuase thats is what really matters. Don't do what other people want, do what you want to do and what makes you happy.

regan, don't stay in this shit town because of your highschool friends because trust me, when you graduate, you will lose a lot of these "friends". you become an adult and don't get to see these people every day and go down different paths and you look around you one day and all those people that used to be there aren't there anymore and it's like...wow.
i'm going through the same thing. i graduated last year and i turn 18 in October and am I really going to be pretty much alone for my 18th birthday? I'm keeping hope though because I'm going to collge in January and I hope I meet good friends.
At the end of the day you're alone and you're all you have.
