So I went to the OB yesterday for my annual checkup on the baby and the baby is absolutely fine, only thing is I had to get some blood drawn because my OB thinks that I may have preeclampsia, well she already knows I have it, but she's just double checking to make sure because she doesn't wanna diagnose something and it turning out that I don't ( Read more... )

Wow - I had no idea it was like that. I really do hope you don't have that. And if you do, GOD forbid, that it is a mild case. I'll keep you in my thoughts for sure!! And please keep me updated.

I will keep you up to date. I'll know everything for sure on the 17th of this month. She did say that if I did have it it's more then likely the mild case because my blood pressure isn't over 150 it's almost there, but not quite there yet. I hope I don't have it either but I have nearly everything that describes it. As long as it doesn't turn into eclampsia I'll be alright. I will be sure to keep you updated though, just keep checking back. =)

WTF! Your not going to die are you? I don't want you to have any of that whatever it is called! I just want everything to go well!!! I'm sad now! But I know you will be ok..I'll keep you in my prayers.

No, I'm not going to die. As long as it doesn't turn into eclampsia I'll be totally fine, besides I more then likely only have the mild case of it which is they're going to diagnose me as being on bed rest and to be monitered. That's all. Nothing too bad. As long as I keep to the no salt diet and relax and not go insane I'll be alright. This also means that I can't stress out over everything. I'm just gonna keep praying and hoping that Arianna and I pull through this and that we're alright.

When my stepmom, Laura, was pregnant with Rachel, she had the same disease. The doctors had to pull Rachel out early because Laura's condition was worsening. My dad said though, that if it is catchable early, you can treat it. But yeah, Rachel was prematurely born because of that same disease.

Well they're mainly concerned about my blood pressure and she said I more then likely only have the mild case so I'll just be put on bed rest and be monitered. I'll be totally alright though. If my daughter has to come out early then she has to come out early..I mean she's a big baby and all so she'll be healthy. As long as it doesn't turn into eclampsia all is well.
