Callie writhed restlessly in bed and watched the sliver of moon climb its routine arc across the indigo sky, willing that stubborn moon to move faster.  Callie swore time stopped at night to account for these torturously long, dark hours.  Every click of the clock chanted Erica ( Read more... )

Oh, I'm sorry you teared up. I was kinda sad writing it too. I didn't even think of a sequel, but maybe I'll work on that. I'd be curious what Erica has to say too. Thanks for reading!

Loved it! It would be great to know Erica's response. Also to hear how their second date went!

What a lovely fic and response to the challenge :)

Many lines stood out to me, but this one really struck me.

"Callie sometimes doubted that Erica even existed."

What they had was so intense and so fleeting that I could see Callie doubting that any of it was real. What a strange and disturbing dream to have if it had all been a mirage, but at the same time how could something so intense just walk away in the parking lot one night never to be heard from again?

I loved the description of how Callie got the picture. I like it when Callie is a mischievous little devil. And I like it when Erica blushes and pouts. I liked that Callie was comfortable in her skin enough to approach Erica at work. And even though Erica wanted to be professional, I don't think she was uncomfortable with Callie (a girl) approaching her.

Excellent and I second or third the votes for a continuance... Or just more writing from you. They are always so sweet and heartfelt when you write them :)

Thank you for the sweet comments. Right, I think Erica's sudden and complete disappearance would shock Callie, make her question her reality, her memory. It was also me slamming the show's ridiculous attempt at erasing any trace of Erica. I'm relieved to hear the phone scene worked. I love devilish Callie and I also like her chasing after Erica, esp. in contrast to the show.
I don't know about a continuance, but thanks for the encouragement. :)
