Many lines stood out to me, but this one really struck me.
"Callie sometimes doubted that Erica even existed."
What they had was so intense and so fleeting that I could see Callie doubting that any of it was real. What a strange and disturbing dream to have if it had all been a mirage, but at the same time how could something so intense just walk away in the parking lot one night never to be heard from again?
I loved the description of how Callie got the picture. I like it when Callie is a mischievous little devil. And I like it when Erica blushes and pouts. I liked that Callie was comfortable in her skin enough to approach Erica at work. And even though Erica wanted to be professional, I don't think she was uncomfortable with Callie (a girl) approaching her.
Excellent and I second or third the votes for a continuance... Or just more writing from you. They are always so sweet and heartfelt when you write them :)
