Well.. so far so good. Been kicking ass! Now to keep it up.
The global view--
I'll have squash big enough to cut in a few days--they grow FAST
The zucchini refuses to be outdone
Will have some swiss chard with lunch tomorrow
cukes and a new round of lettuce
Onions that are about ready to pull, and I'll harvest the seeds for another round
the potatoes
my new salsa/sauce raised bed
So far, I have 23 tomato plants (though 4 are rather spindly--they're the ones I got at Lowe's!) Many are heirlooms and first attempt for me.
Peppers include: California Wonder (bell), Yellow Summer (bell), Gypsy (bell), Italian sweet, habanero, jalapeno, chili, cowhorn, hmmmm.. probably something else that's escaping me
zucchini, yellow, and spaghetti squash
lettuce, swiss chard
onions that I will continue to harvest at various stages, leeks, chives, shallots (the latter 3 multiply and will return from year to year)
yukon gold and red potatoes
herbs- rosemary, sage, lemon thyme, oregano, bee balm, dill, sweet basil, purple basil, cilantro
Still to plant (and soon!!) pumpkins, watermelon, okra, and eggplant
