Ok, it's way past time that I at least make a concerted effort to learn Spanish. I've dabbled with it before, and quite honestly, I think I have a learning disability when it comes to second language acquisition! It's frustrating to me, as I generally pick things up pretty quickly. Any recommendations on language learning programs? I'll do some ( Read more... )

Hey! For some reason I didn't get a notification about your comment, and I'm bad about not looking back to the thread unless I do! Russian, huh? Any particular reason, or just something you wanna do (sometimes that's the best reason!) I've heard of R. Stone, but actually know nothing about it. You can see how I'm making tracks here---haven't done anything toward this since I posted, other than trying to say a phrase or two a day to my non-English speakers in class. I'm going to need luck--I swear I have a learning disability!! :) Hope you're doing well. *big hugs*
