This is like a week that did not exist. On Sunday night I headed out for Chad and Bo's place. I'm still here. I could've made a break for it this afternoon, but Chad insisted I just wait until morning. It's been a good time. We've done our own thing a lot, and the time has actually gone by with remarkable speed. They have been wonderful hosts

Sounds like you had a grand time being snowed in for a week. I have been at work every day this week. I am the one that opens the doors. That and I live 3 miles away. The bad part is I was supposed to have someone over for 3 days and well the snow and ice has kept them away. Bummer.
Hopefully when you get home you can settle back into your space again.

I was only 3 miles away, too.. but a helluva three miles it was! There are still some nasty spots up this way, but not a deal if you're driving in daylight and/or being careful. Sorry your plans were interrupted--hope you'll get another opportunity to get together soon. *hugs*

Glad you've been with company, and have been safe. My immediate neighbors, who live alone, have been going stir-crazy. Well, not Spew, he has been in Somalia, placated with Eddie and gin. I'm at work, and, not liking it. Be careful driving, shortcake.

Sounds like you have a few snow stories to tell...no more volunteering! It was indeed good to be with friends---originally they wanted me to come over thinking I might lose power. They have a fireplace, and weren't as likely to lose power as me in the first place, since we have so many trees in the subdivision. Never happened, but the company was good. I'll be careful and you be careful too-- driving AND walking! *hugs*
