when you tell me your name
i'll always wonder if you lied
for you see my friend,
i'll never know you on the inside

you'll always hold your secrets
and i'll always have mine too
i suppose this little act
is the best we can do

but what if there was a way
to learn of one another
we could lower our walls
and expose each other

I'm glad you do. It doesn't have a very elegant sound to it but I thought it was clever and described how I often felt.

Um... explaing the first part about the relativeness of your name and who you are on the inside... it's because I wonder what motives you could possibly have for not telling me your real name. It's true, I always wonder that. Don't ask why.

I thoroughly enjoyed that poem. Its still good even if it doesnt sound elegant.
