It was a relief to be away from Billie's house. There were so many memories there for her that didn't involve him, and even though he wouldn't openly admit it to himself, it made him quite jealous. Looking the menu over, he finally decided on a burger and fries. Laying the laminated cardboard down, he looked up at Billie and then to the kids,

Billie set her menu down as well. She wasn't very hungry but she knew she might be later. She decided on a turkey wrap. She also ordered chicken nuggets for Mackenzie.

Telling the waiter his order when he came over, he handed the menu over to the waiter. Letting his eyes shift to a jukebox in the corner, he smiled, "Music anybody?"

Billie ordered as well and nodded. "Oh, uh, sure. Here take some money..." shen handed him a few dollars.

He nodded to the little ones with his head and whispered, "Don't guess they're old enough to pick out songs yet." Seeing some games in the corner, he looked to Mackenzie, "Here Kid, go win a prize." He handed her the dollars and smiled.
