After the good talk with Hope, Billie stays in her seat, drinking more coffee. She's pretty cold, and assumes Casey must be as well so she lays the blanket over him. She vows to go home as soon as she finishes her coffee, and looks up to see the poster she'd looked at earlier ( Read more... )

"M-Morgan..." Billie replied. Her eyes shifted to Roman. "What's going on Roman? What's wrong?"

Once they arrive at the hospital, Billie clears her throat and looks around. The place wasn't too busy at the moment.

"Stay here and I'll inquire about Lexie or Kayla or someone..." she smiles a little and looks at Morgan before turning to the nurses station.

Morgan nodded and sat down rocking the stroller back and forth, nervously. "Hey little guy. I hope this all works out for us.." she smiled.

At the nurses station, Billie approached slowly. She stood there, frozen for a minute, paying no attention to the young girl popping her bubble gum and filing her nails.

"Can I help you?" she asked, obviously not interested.

"Yes, is Kayla Johnson available?" Billie asked.

The girl tapped an unfiled nail against a sheet. "Mmm, looks like she's not today." she said. She looked back at the nail file and continued.

"Ooookay, how about Dr. Lexie Carver?" Billie asked again.

The girl slightly rolled her eyes and looked at the sheet. "Yea, she's here. I'll page her to the waiting room for you."

"Thanks." Billie said, sarcastically. She turned around and looked at Morgan and Casey, her legs, arms, and heart heavy.

Morgan smiled at the little baby, now wide awake, in his stroller. He was starting to get fussy. "Don't worry Mommy will feed you." Morgan looked at the baby bag of Billie's and got out a bottle for him. She lifted Casey up and started to feed him.

"There we go that should be all better soon."
