Psychosomatic, or somatopsychic?

A psychosomatic illness is defined as a disorder having physical symptoms but having mental or emotional origins. In common usage, the word has come to mean "imaginary", synonymous with hypochondria (though hypochondria is in itself a serious mental illness.) There have been links to ties between severity of diabetis and bipolar. I find this of interst, because of course i am both. Also, I rad only yesterday that there is bipolar one and bipolar two? I don't know what the difference is, though one of them is more close to schizophrenia and delusions. I wish I had more information on that one! My form of bipolar is rapid cycling.. which a few years ago at least some docs were unconvinced exsisted. They should meet me.

Actually, Bipolar I is more severe. Bipolar II is characterized by hypomania, which normally does not interfere with a person's ability to function.
