Kazahaya is another person that Toboe trusts greatly and regards much like a big brother. He knows if he was ever in real danger, he could turn to Kazhaya for help, but regrets not being able to help Kazahaya when most bad things befall him. Kazahaya needs some luck potion.

Toboe is eager to befriend Rue because she seems like a nice person and reminds him of Cal. He's a little shy of how she refers to him as cute.

Toboe finds Lupin to be a fun guy and likes to tease him and play along sometimes because he's one of the less serious people Toboe's met. He's not sure what's up with the tension between Lupin and Alex.
