UPDATE--DECEMBER 7, 2009--Last time we notified nominees as we went along as the amount of nominations warranted such. We haven't done that yet this time because we are not receiving as many nominations as we had hoped for in this year's program. Indeed, at this point, only 3 or 4 categories can open. Nominations will remain open until January 31,

I think it's because people don't want to register to participate. That's why I'm not, and honestly doubt that I will.

People do not need to register to nominate but, so that all things are kept as even as possible, it is necessary to register to vote. We hope this deters cheating and gives all of our participants the most level playing field possible. If others feel differently we have no control over that.
