Hi, I'm still alive. I got back a week ago from Japan, where I was at the Osaka Dolpa for the SD High Mode Competition finals. Still jetlagged! I've decided to put my Tenshi-no-Sato trip in another post, since I haven't gotten to those photos yet. Wow! I really enjoyed your write-up! What an exciting -- if exhausting -- trip. I'm so glad to hear that you saw Mrs. Shigeta. How is she doing? Did she look well? That must have been fun being in the vendor's hall before it opened. I'm afraid that I would have totally taken advantage of that to grab some stuff from CTB or DDK, but I can see how it would be overwhelming.

I'll have my fingers crossed for your entry! It really is fantastic and you never know, it may have stood out just because it wasn't all covered with flowers.^^

Yeah I was just totally shut down from jetlag, I think I didn't have any clue how bad it was. lol. Ah well, I went broke enough in Japan anyway - just not on doll stuff! (Err excepting the doll I bought. :X)

Maybe one day I'll get to visit Japan again! I just was glad to enter -- much like you. (I need more sewing practice!)

Question out of the blue -- have you gotten your doll back yet?

The short answer is, no, I haven't.

I don't know how much they told you when you mailed your doll. Maybe we should use LJ message - if you can tell me what they told you, I'll tell you whatever additional I might know.
