Oct 21, 2010 20:58

Welcome to the Waterford house everyone. It's large and sprawling though still very comfortable and cozy like all good homes should feel. And it's even more cozy than usual since Ireland's been decorating for her annual Christmas party for friends and family. KITCHEN pledged_to_me October 22 2010, 01:02:27 UTC
This would be the kitchen, bright and large and full of food that is actually edible in the house of an Isles Sibling what sorcery is this? England and Scotland are not allowed, but anyone else who wants to poke around and pester our lovely cooks are perfectly welcome to drop in!

As for our lovely cooks themselves... don't mind the mess Ireland's left for you in her wake? It's the cost of her edible food, I fear.

LIVING ROOM pledged_to_me October 22 2010, 01:06:14 UTC
Welcome to Ireland's living room, full of comfy chairs and couches and what is likely the world's largest fur tree wedged into a corner strung up with lights and tinsel and many, many commemorative and collectible ornaments. Wedged under that would be all the Christmas gifts Ireland's been able to make or buy over the past year. If you've brought a gift as well, this is where they go. If you didn't, that's quite alright, just having you over is quite enough. There's also a fireplace well enough away from aforementioned tree, if you catch a chill feel free to snuggle up against it.

...Though, do mind the mistletoe hung in the doorway?

[This would be Lyle, hanging about just under the door with a giant crate of booze in his arms. ... he wasn't sure where he should put it, okay. So he's popped his head in here to see what's what. Oh, and he hasn't noticed the mistletoe hanging above his head yet, either.]

[Ireland's booze senses are tingling! She pokes her head out the kitchen door and smiles brightly at Lyle, walking over and easily taking the crate from him] Merry Christmas, Lyle. How are you doin' today then?

[He grins back when he sees her and hands the crate over.] Merry Christmas right back at you, Brigid. I'm not bad at all, actually, you?

[With the kitchen out of bounds and England being.... well, England and therefore Mr. Socially Awkward Especially When It Comes To Anything To Do With Ireland, he hasn't quite made it to the living room yet. Instead, he's hanging about in one of the downstairs hallways. Being awkward. Yes. :|b Someone for the love of god come along and shift his arse or otherwise engage him in conversation.]

[Eliza is looking for someone who she can share her gossip with. Preferably someone Elliot wouldn't want to know.

Spotting England, she thinks Perfect.]

Uncle Arthur! Uncle Arthur!

[Eliza is sitting in the corner of the living room, but in clear view of the kitchen. She's just seen her brother walk into the kitchen with his boyfriend and wants to see their Aunt's reaction as well as everyone else's.]
