Had a wonderful time. Got to listen to Terry Brooks on two panels. The one where he and Ben Bova just talked about whatever was fantastic, as was Kelly Lockhart's interview with Terry Brooks. Ben Bova was in the audience for that panel. What a con ( Read more... )

Terry Brooks is one of the nicest guys I've met, and fun to talk to or be on a panel with. :)

Tom reports on Saturday so we were seeing family one last time. It was a a slight shift in the time table. When were were first told that was supposed to be the weekend he left for overseas. Now that has been pushed to week after Dragoncon.

Sarah Hoyt's two boys, and a number of others I didn't get to talk to this time. I rode with Pat and Sarah's boys, all were fun. Her youngest (15 and looks 20) was my dinner conversational companion and we had a good time. Again, please forgive my lousy memory for names and if someone in the know will supply it, I'll have another chance to hammer it into my brain.

I believe he's Eric Marshall Hoyt and currently prefers to be called Marshall
