mrs260, in the "More Things We Need" post, remarked that we should make absolutely sure that the address we send The Quilt to will accept packages. So I'd like a volunteer to write to the House fanmail addresses, explain the project, and ask if the package will be accepted at that address, then share the results here. I would do it, but unfortunately I can't, since I can't do the "self-addressed stamped envelope" from Germany (it doesn't work because of the stamps). I asked the post-people today.

But I can offer to write the letter and then email it to whoever will do the sending part. (He/She has to be in the US, I'm afraid).

And btw: I had this in one of the post's I made, I thought I'd let you know:

this has been posted on the fox forums/house so will be getting more people. Please give me your address I have squares with quotes to mail off to you.

The only problem with someone outside the US doing it is that the publicity offices will need US stamps in order to mail the response--even if you put in international reply coupons, they'd have to actually go to the post office to redeem them, and chances are they'd just not do it.

So far that's two non-US folks who have offered to do it--you and Wihulta. I guess I'll just do it--but if you like, you could write the letter and I'll print it and mail it! If you want to do that, you can email it to me at alex51324@hotmail.com

Have you managed to do this, or do you still need someone too? I'm in the US and I'm willing, if you haven't been able to yet. :D

Samisaurus, did you get around to checking the addresses for sending the House Quilt? If you haven't, I guess I'd better get off my butt and do it...If you have, what did you find out?
