Heh! Someone could probably write a doctoral dissertation on how best to survive a Chinatown bus trip. Lots of friends have taken the Fung Wah bus (or its rivals) between Boston and NYC and have interesting tales to tell. As in, "may you live in interesting times."

Where to avoid sitting:
Near the driver - in case a rival busline tries to shoot him
Near the front - in case of a head-on crash
Near the toilet - due to the stank
In the rear - most of the fires start here, furthest from exit
Window seat - flying glass during roll-overs
Near a speaker - due to Chinese opera music
