I just heard back from GRS Montreal. They said the soonest they have an appointment available was summer of 2004...WTF!!! This can't be right! Booking over a year in advance?!!! Ugh...this is really upsetting! I really, REALLY hope there has been a mistake! I think I might call them next week and see if there has been a mix up.

Shit Beck, that's a lot longer than you had hoped for, however, they get a lot of people who bail out and so the dates get moved up. I have a bunch pf MTF friends who's surgeries were scheduled for 3 years later, and ended up having it like within a year and a half. I know, it's no big comfort, but you may get it much sooner than you think.

Thanks Lucas, Yeah, I'm really upset. I'm trying to calm down about it, because chances are I will be able to get a quicker date. I have just been really excited about making the decision and getting all the paper work in order and finding this new job to aid in the expenses... and then THIS happends. blah. I emailed my therapist to see f she has any suggestions so we'll see. Hopefully, I'll get better news when I hear from her.
