Here's my first ever Emily/David fic. sorry if the spelling and grammar is off as I don't have a beta yet, anyone willing to help let me know though. please let me know what you think <33

You always anticipate these events, when you can see her dressed up in an outfit that shows off her perfect figure, when you can be close to her without anyone questioning your motives. You pull her closer into you and a smile lights up her face as she feels the tug. Every time you see that smile the butterflies in your stomach flutter to life.

That night you lie in bed. Your daughter is asleep in the next room and your wife is asleep next to you snuggled into your side but you just can’t drift off to sleep, all you can see when you shut your eyes is her in bed with her boyfriend, someone else touching his Emily, but she’s not his to keep. He is having an emotional affair with his co-star.

Her breath hitches in her throat as you slowly move your lips towards her. When your lips touch she is stunned before she melts into the kiss, slowly threading her arms around your neck. You run your tongue along her bottom lip, requesting access and she opens her mouth as the intensity of your kiss increases. Your hands are placed on her hips and you pull her closer, bodies meeting, and sparks flying. Your hand sneaks up to the front of her shirt as you slowly undo her buttons…he is startled awake…

Your daily stop at the café around the corner from the studios, you walk into the café and there is Emily ordering her first dose of caffeine for the day. She has on a pair of tight jeans, and a loose flowing top. She catches a glimpse of you standing in the doorway staring at her and smiles at you in greeting. You feel your face heat up in embarrassment and you hope she didn’t catch you staring at her but you know she did. And your glad.

Today is the scene all the fans have been waiting for, the moment that Bones and Booth will finally act on their feelings. Their making you practice the kiss because “this event has been long anticipated.” The acting coach tells you to place your hands on her hips and Emily has to wrap her arms around your neck. Your faces are inches apart, your noses almost touching… and then your kissing her. She relaxes against you and you both pull each other closer. Neither of you want to stop but the acting coach clearing her throat soon separates you.
“Well, I think you’ve got it,” She says, laughter in her voice before leaving the room.
Your arms are still wrapped around each other. You blush and separate, embarrassed looks mirroring each other. You mumble that you should go before quickly turning towards the door. You want her even more now.
“Wait,” her voice is small, shy and you turn back to her. Her eyes show want. Caught in a moment you walk back towards her, wrap your arms around her, and then, slowly your lips meet again, a tender soft kiss full of love…
