It started too early as the son and I went to sit at th ehospital with my mom and see my step father before he went in to surgery. He had kidney cancer two years ago and they took one out. Today they took out both his adrenal glands. The othe rkidney still looks good ( Read more... )

He is clostrophobic and subject to panic attascks too so my mom has her hands full 8^(

Surgery went well they had to give him blood. Heas was in surgery about 5 hours they took out both adrenal glands (second one after they did a biopsy) but did leave his other kidney there was no evidence of cancer there. He will liely be in the hospital for a few days before mom brings him to her house to recover (they are still married but maintain seperate houses long strange story there).

So now we see how things go,

wow...i lost my brother to adrenal cancer 2 years ago this august. depression has been my shadow since his diagnosis...

Thank you very much.

I wish you well with your depression. I have had a long battle with it that continues. I fear mine is not triggered by anything as understandable as yours.

My best advice is to recall him at his best.
