You feel empty inside, but the reason it is different than usual is because she has just walked out your front door.
There are never perfect moments between the two of you, but tonight you have pushed her too far.
Her eyes had dulled and the tears started to fall down her cheeks. The moment the words had left your lips, you knew she was hurting inside, and yet you could not bring yourself to utter the words. Words that other men can say when needed.
