The elegant red dress exudes confidence, which is why Cameron chose it several weeks ago. The skirt is swimming around her legs like delicate ocean foam.
She examines her reflection in the mirror, searching for imperfections, fixing strands of curled hair so they frame her face.
Poker night isn’t really her thing, but the event is for a good cause so she is determined to do her part. Even House is going to be there, and Cameron has no idea how Cuddy managed to pull that off.
Satisfied, she turns to leave.
She wonders if he will notice her.
