Her response is filled with the cynicism of a woman who has forgotten what it is like to be touched. She ignores the bouquets of flowers littering the front desk. The overpriced splashes of color soon will decay and rot, their skeletons unceremoniously dumped into a trash can.
It amuses her when Chase attempts to be philosophical. It’s sex. She is merely being practical. And damn, it has been awhile since she has gotten laid.
She can tell from his eyes that he is the man she is looking for.
